Volunteer at FFR!

Dedicated, passionate volunteers are the lifeblood of many non-profits.  At FFR the volunteer fulfills the Mission Statement by providing confidential support and services to Fillmore County residents in crisis.

Volunteering at Fillmore Family Resources will enrich your life by giving back to those in need in your community.

Volunteer Opportunities

Computer/Technical Volunteer:
Assist with computer and software troubleshooting, update website.

Court Monitor:
Provide court monitoring, note the cases and findings, note lawyer or representatives comments, etc.

Crisis Line Volunteer:
Provide support and empathetic listening and resource referral for victims calling after hours. Training is provided.

Fair Booth/Other Event Volunteer:
Hand out brochures and materials while staffing various public awareness booths.
No training required.

Fundraising Volunteer:
Assist in planning and implementing fund raising activities and events. No training necessary.

Newsletter Volunteer:
Help create, assemble, and mail newsletters. No training is necessary.

Office Volunteer:
Provide assistance by helping with general office work. Basic training is provided.

Community/Classroom Presentations:
Volunteer will assist staff in conducting presentation to community groups, church groups, and schools. Training is provided.

Publicity Volunteer:
Write articles and create ads on victim related topics for local newspapers.
Minimal training will be provided.

Relocation Volunteer:
Help clients move, pack belongings, load and unload moving vehicles.

Safe Home Provider:
Provide housing for battered women and their children on a temporary basis. Training is provided.

Special Project Volunteer:
Work on both short term and long term projects such as event planning, research, newsletters.
No training is required.

Transportation Volunteer:
Drive clients to appointments, court dates, safe homes, etc. Mileage will be paid.
Must have a valid driver’s license and own insurance.
