Safety Planning Tips
- During an explosive incident, try to avoid rooms that don't have exits (bathroom) or contain weapons (kitchen).
- Indentify a variety of ways to get out of your home safely. Practice your escape methods.
- Hide a bag already packed with medications, a change of clothes, imporant documents (identification card, passport, visa, green card, etc.), money, spare change, and keys.
- Teach your children to dial 911.
- Plan where you will go if you have to leave.
